Cerebral Palsy of Virginia is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization serving children and adults with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities such as those
with Down syndrome, autism, muscular dystrophy, mental retardation, learning disabilities as well as those with hearing, speech and visual impairments. Over 150+ children and adults throughout Hampton Roads, the Peninsula, Virginia's Eastern Shore and the Commonwealth of Virginia receive programs and services through Cerebral Palsy of Virginia.
The Board of Directors is composed of consumers, parents and business leaders. The Board and staff are a dynamic network of individuals committed to the following purposes:

Assure the rights and entitlements of children and adults with disabilities |

Provide broad based programs and services to children and adults with a disability to attain the fullest possible independence, employment, and inclusion in community activities |

Provide educational material to consumers, parents and the community to increase and create awareness and understanding of cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities |
| • |
Develop the financial and volunteer resources to accomplish the goals and objectives of the agency |
