KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Kids on the Block

Kids on the Block is an educational puppet program which teaches children in local elementary schools disability awareness and the acceptance of those with differences. Cerebral Palsy visits over 3,000 students annually.

Each performance includes an introduction and a skit on Learning Disabilities, Down syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. We also provide a program on Bullying and School Safety. At the conclusion of each skit, students have the opportunity to ask the puppets any questions they may have. Cerebral Palsy provides teachers with an educational packet which includes information as well as activities for students to help reinforce what they've learned after the performance.

Performances are for students grade 3rd through 5th and are scheduled from October through May. There is a $125 fee to schedule a performance. Click here for a brief description, disability summary and Registration Form.
